5 Ringgit Prime Minister Commemorative Coin

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) issued 1st Prime Minister Commemorative Coins in 1971 that feature Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, Father of Independence Malaysia. These commemorative coins were released in two different types i.e. 5 Ringgit copper-nickel coin and 100 Ringgit .917 gold coin.

A total of 2,000,000 mintage of 5 Ringgit copper-nickel coins were released and 100,000 mintage of 100 Ringgit gold coins were issued.

A piece of UNC coin worth around RM16. Of course the coin's value depends on its condition.
